The College is closed for Spring Break starting Monday, March 30th through Sunday, April 5th. The Advising Center helps you make academic choices to reach your educational goals. It is open day and evening to all students on a walk-in basis. Academic advisors are available at the center to help students with program requirements, educational options, test interpretation, course placement, transfer information and preliminary educational planning. Appropriate educational planning facilitates academic success. Advisors are also available to help you with: Educational concerns Registering for classes Declaring or changing your major Changing your class schedule Balancing your work and class schedule Unofficial review of graduation requirements Class withdrawal Choosing appropriate mode of course instruction Understanding academic policies and procedures If you are a new student you are welcome to visit with an academic advisor to discuss the steps to enroll, available majors, and program requirements. If you have attended another college or university bring your grade report or transcript with you when you come to see an advisor. An advisor can review this information to help determine your course placement. If you have not been enrolled for more than two years, see an advisor to determine if your program requirements have changed.
