     The Advising and Transfer Center helps students with career and educational goals through providing the following services:

    • Educational Planning 
    • Class scheduling
    • Test interpretation
    • Declaring or changing your major
    • Transfer preparation
    • Unofficial review of graduation requirements
    • Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) advisement
    • PGCC Reinstatement advisement
    • Choosing appropriate mode of course instruction (on-campus, online, or hybrid)
    • Understanding academic policies and procedures
    • Assist with career assessment and development which includes: internships, cover letter, job search, and interviewing preparation
    If you have attended another college or university, bring your grade report or unofficial transcript with you when you come to see an advisor.  An advisor can review this information to help determine your course placement.

    If you are a former PGCC student and have not been enrolled for more than two years, see an advisor to determine if your program requirements have changed.

    Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 8:00pm. Friday - 8:30am - 5:00pm The office is closed 8:30am-1:00pm on the 1st & 3rd Friday of the month.
