NEDP Registration & Placement Testing

Prince George's Community College will hold the January NEDP registration and placement testing at the UTC campus in Hyattsville on Thursday, January 25th. To register and test for NEDP, send an email to nedp@pgcc.edu with your name, telephone number, your email address and your choice of these times- 10am or 6pm. You will receive a confirmation email and further instructions. The National External Diploma Program (NEDP) is a High School Diploma option for mature adults who have significant life experience and can demonstrate academic competencies and life skills. Successful participants earn a Maryland High School Diploma by developing an online portfolio which demonstrates mastery of the required skills. To enroll in the NEDP, individuals must qualify in math, reading and writing. The program is held at two PGCC sites: the Largo campus and the University Town Center in Hyattsville. The total cost of the program is $200.
