    Vaccination Policy

General admission to Prince George’s Community College does not require a health history or a vaccination record. However, students entering Allied Health Programs and certain Nursing programs must provide proof of immunization or immunity by titers via a health examination record prior to enrollment in the program. The forms are provided from the program of study. The immunization requirements are based on guidelines set forth by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention and the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and the program accreditation standards and the best interest of the students.

Vaccination Requirements for Summer Youth Program

The Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene requires that all youth attending any camp(s) at Prince George’s Community College have on file a completed health information and release form from their Primary Care Physician. The health supervisor requires the health form be signed by the Primary Care Physician. Campers exempt from any immunization for medical or religious reasons must provide certification of the exception signed by a licensed physician.
