ADHD: Transforming the Challenge into a Gift
This free event is presented by Guillermo Ingebrigtsen Guerrero of Disability Support Services (DSS). Mr. Guerrero is a reader scribe, parent, and advocate of a Student with a Disability (SWD). He will share the success story of his son, a PGCC graduate and UMD transfer student diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
According to Mr. Guerrero, 1 out of 20 students now present themselves with documented ADHD at DSS. He wishes to share his insights as an 11-year DSS employee at the College who also has ADHD.
