Advising for Specific Types of Students

Transfer Students

If you have attended another college or university, be sure to bring your grade report or unofficial transcript with you when you meet with an advisor.

The more information you have about your prior college experience, the more help we can offer — especially in accurately determining your course placement.

International Students

We can help you with the necessary paperwork that will allow you to study in the United States. We can also advise you on nonacademic basics, such as getting a driver's license or opening a bank account.

Nursing and Allied Health Students

If you have been admitted to PGCC and want to pursue a degree in the Nursing and Allied Health field, you will need to meet additional admission requirements.

We can help you understand these requirements and improve your chances of entering one of these competitive programs.

Students Seeking Readmission

If you are a former PGCC student and have not been enrolled at the college for more than two years (four semesters), you will need to be readmitted.
