Venue + Equipment and Labor Package + Front of House Services

What Renters Need to Know

Please note that we are currently not accepting any rental requests at this time. This is for informational purposes only. Please check back for updates to this policy.

A Rental Request Form must be submitted at least 10 weeks before the venue's first date of rental.

If the venue is available, an email will confirm a hold on the date and include a price quote based on the information in the Rental Request Form. That price will be affected if any additional time or services are needed.

Please note that a hold does not mean that the rental is confirmed, and an event may not be marketed until a rental contract has been executed and a payment received.

Following the confirmation of a venue hold, a facility walkthrough will be scheduled. During the walkthrough, the rentals team will assess the labor, technical, front-of-house, and ticketing needs for the event. An estimate of costs will be provided, and the renter will have seven days from receipt of the estimate to approve the cost, or the hold will be released.

Once the estimate of costs is approved, the Rental Contract will be sent.

The Rental Contract is comprised of three parts, and all three must be signed and remitted in order for the rental contract to be accepted:

  1. Rental Contract Agreement
  2. Attachment I: Center for Performing Arts Usage Policies
  3. Attachment II: Rental Balance

To qualify for the non-profit rental rate, non-profit renters must provide proof of 501(c)(3) status at the time of contract signing.

A 25 percent non-refundable deposit is due upon execution of the Rental Contract, and payment may be made by credit card or certified check payable to Prince George’s Community College. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the event unless the event is contracted within six weeks of the event date, in which case full payment is due upon execution.

Once the contract has been executed, tickets will be placed on sale through the Center for Performing Arts Box Office, and the renter may begin advertising the event.

Please note that the Center for Performing Arts reserves the right to list rental events in its online calendar. The renter is responsible for all event marketing.

Following the event's completion, a final invoice will be issued with a breakdown of any remaining balances owed.

For ticketed events, Prince George's Community College will issue the remaining ticket revenue owed to the renter, minus any fees, via check. This typically takes about 30 days from the issuance of the final invoice.
