Enhancing safety and justice for victims of violence

The Violence Prevention Center (VPC) was established to enhance safety and justice for victims of sexual assault, intimate partner violence and stalking on campus. The VPC project uses a multidisciplinary approach that involves the entire campus community as well as the larger community to address such crimes. The primary objective is to institutionalize campus and community-based response protocols that will increase victim safety and services, hold perpetrators accountable, and eliminate the fundamental causes of violence against women on campus.

Community Awareness Programs and Trainings

These activities include men’s programming and comprehensive, culturally-competent bystander intervention programs that trains the entire college community in ways it can assist in reducing violence of this nature at the college.
