This micro-pathway will allow students to gain skills and become eligible for the National Health Career (NHA) Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) certification, the CMAA credential, and gain skills in a variety of in-patient and outpatient administrative areas including, but not limited to, Medical Office Assistant and Medical Office Secretary.
Students may continue to pursue a credit certificate and/or associate degree in Health Navigator, Medical Assisting Certificate and/or a degree in Medical Coder/Billing Specialist Certificate, or Health Information Management A.A.S. degree.
The micro-pathway is a 12-month program for learners who work part-or full-time. It will be available in a virtual synchronous and hybrid learning format.
