TEC-706 Ethical Hacking Certification Prep    

Students will learn the tools and methodologies used by ethical hackers and updated computer security resources describing vulnerabilities and innovative methods to protect networks. Students will practice footprinting, scanning, enumeration, exploitation, and post-exploitation and learn about federal and state computer crime laws and changes in penalties for illegal computer hacking. This course is designed for those interested in systems and application security or who want to take the EC-Council’s Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) exam.

*Online—Learning on your own time

Students taking an online class can access course content 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and have discussions with their instructors and fellow learners using Canvas. Deadlines and due dates will be set for assignments, tests, and projects.

**Remote—Learning in real time

Students who take a remote class will meet online via Zoom in your Canvas course at scheduled times with set deadlines and due dates. Students will ​also access learning materials, assignments, and participate in discussions via Canvas.
