Josh Ostraff is a professor of art at Prince George’s Community College. He received an M.F.A. from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities in Studio Art with an emphasis on painting and drawing. He has an active community arts practice and is a multimedia artist who has exhibited his paintings, drawings, films, graphic designs, art books, and screen prints nationally and internationally. He uses art and design as a means to explore, question, create, discuss, connect, and engage.

Josh is interested in opportunities to connect with the community around him, acting as fuel for his creativity and learning. If you have an idea or desire to connect, don’t hesitate to reach out to him.

Heather Ossandon is a professor of art at Prince George’s Community College. She creates ceramics that reflect her distinct background. Throughout her career, she has traveled through Asia, Central America, Europe, and the U.S. These experiences have cultivated techniques and methods that are incorporated into her studio practice. Focusing on functional pottery and sculptural still life, traditional practices, and everyday objects are the spotlight of her work. She received her B.F.A. from Montclair State University, NJ, and her M.F.A. from the University of Delaware. She is the recipient of a Maker-Creator Fellowship from the Winterthur Museum in Delaware and has attended residencies in Sanboa Studios, China, AIR Vallauris, France, Rancho Mastatal, Costa Rica, and Sugar Maples Center for the Arts, NY, to name a few. 

Ossandon operates HEOS Ceramics in Baltimore, MD. She has shown her artworks both nationally and internationally.

Sarah Wegner is a professor of art and design at Prince George’s Community College (PGCC). She earned her B.F.A. in painting and drawing from the University of Arizona and her M.F.A. from the Hoffberger School at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Sarah Wegner has taught sculpture at PGCC since 2005. Before joining the College, she taught at Goucher College, UMBC, and Loyola College. Sarah Wegner specializes in mixed media sculpture, combining cast bronze, welded steel, and found objects. She exhibits her artwork in Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia, and New York.
