Ennis Nicole Allen

Ennis Nicole Allen is an associate professor and the department chair of the Humanities Department at Prince George's Community College. Since her youth, Allen has been passionate about the arts, embarking on an early educational career and tenure at the art meccas of Suitland High School's Visual and Performing Arts Program and the Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, D.C. She received a Bachelor of Arts in public relations from West Virginia Wesleyan College and a Master of Arts degree in organizational communication from Howard University.

Allen joined PGCC in 2004. In her current role as department chair, she manages the College's Art and Design, Communication and Public Relations, Dance, Theater, Foreign Languages, Music, Philosophy, Television, Radio, and Film areas. Her goal is to ensure that the Humanities Department's courses and programs are enhanced and expanded in all areas. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
