John Singleton Double Feature: Higher Learning
The African American Studies Institute will be showing Rosewood and Higher Learning, two important films directed by the prolific African American filmmaker John Singleton.
Higher Learning will be screened on March 23 at 2 p.m. in CPA105. Discussion and delicious refreshments will be included.
Released in 1995, Higher Learning examines the clash of identities among new college students. Starring Jennifer Connelly, Ice Cube, Omar Epps, Michael Rapaport, and Kristy Swanson.
