LARGO, Md. (September 21, 2021) – Prince George’s Community College (PGCC) announced today a new partnership with the American College of Education (ACE) to provide eligible PGCC students and graduates with a seamless transfer experience into select ACE programs. Under the new partnership, PGCC students, graduates, and employees are also eligible for reduced tuition via an ACE partnership grant.

Eligible students and graduates may transfer their completed PGCC credits into one of four programs at ACE: B.S. in Applied Management and Leadership, B.S. in Healthcare Administration, RN to BSN,* and RN to MSN.

“Providing a clear pathway for community college students to complete their bachelor’s or master’s degree is another way ACE stays true to its mission of making high-quality education as accessible as possible to working professionals,” said TJ Cafferty, assistant director of strategic partnerships at ACE. “We’re proud to partner with Prince George’s Community College to bring our online programs within reach of more students.”

“We are extremely enthusiastic to offer our students this wonderful opportunity to transfer to the American College of Education,” said Aundrea Wheeler, Prince George’s Community College assistant vice president for curriculum, programs, and regulation.

“The partnership with ACE will facilitate a seamless transfer and build new bridges that will assist our students in the acquisition of advanced degrees. Not only does the agreement build upon the current success of students at PGCC, employees who wish to earn advanced degrees are also eligible to continue their education under this partnership. We look forward to working with ACE to create an ongoing pipeline for both students and employees,” she added.
