Speak with our Community and Corporate Partners about career opportunities once you successfully complete a certificate or degree with Prince George's Community College.

    Student-led walking tours will depart from LSC Courtyard every half hour beginning at 10 a.m.

    PGCC Culinary Arts Tasting
    (Social Sciences and Business Division, Hospitality Tourism, and Culinary Arts)

    If you know Chef Edward Whitfield, you know his passion for the culinary arts speaks volumes. PGCC’s Culinary Arts department, led by Chef Whitfield, will conduct a healthy food demonstration and tasting. Taste and See!

    » Information Sessions

    During our information sessions you will be introduced to the many programs at Prince George’s Community College and have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. We offer unique information sessions for high school juniors and seniors, and for high school sophomores and younger. High school students will also have the opportunity to speak with current college students as they will speak about college life on the campus. They will describe the daily balance between what is expected of them from their professors and their personal interests.

    Employment and Career Skills Workshop

    The Employment and Career Skills Workshop will feature information from Prince George’s Community College’s Career Services Office on resume writing, interview skills, and how to search for job opportunities. We will also have information from  PGCC Cares on how their programs can assist prospective students and members of our community.

    » The Future is Now

    The Future is Now Presentation
    12 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. | Rennie Forum

    "The Future is Now" session will provide an interactive presentation about Prince George's Community College, highlighting different aspects of college preparedness such as, the importance of good grades, study skills, majors, degree paths and college costs. The presentations are developed to provide students at an early age an opportunity to interact and learn about educational options with college staff.

    Scholarship Showcase
    11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | Largo Student Center, Rennie Forum

    We welcome you and your family to join us as the Office of Recruitment, the Honors Program, & the Hillman Entrepreneurship Program collaborate to share information on the scholarship opportunities available to you.

    We will have presenters speaking about the Board of Trustees’ Legacy Scholarship, the Honors Academy Scholarship, the PGCC Promise scholarship, the AOBA Scholarship, the Hillman Scholarship, and more. There will also be staff from the Office of Recruitment to discuss the process of applying and enrolling at the college for students who are finalizing their plans as their senior year comes to an end.
