Prince George's Community College's Security Officer Training Academy is an intensive 80-hour program that satisfies the increasing demands of the security industry. This unarmed training program will prepare the student for entry into the challenging field of private security. Training for job opportunities in a growing market is offered at a minimal cost. Additional fees apply for out-of-county residents. Textbook is required.

A detailed application must be completed, in order to be accepted into the Security Officer Program. A limited background check will be completed prior to acceptance into the class.
