IT Fundamentals is designed for individuals who are considering a career in information technology (IT) or for those who work in an allied field that requires a broad understanding of IT.

Topics include basic computer concepts, types of computers, hardware and software components, networking, network protocols, information security, maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting computer systems, and future technologies. This course provides instruction on the CompTIA IT Fundamentals Certification Exam.

This course is designed for individuals pursuing professional development training in information technology and provides instruction on the CompTIA IT Fundamentals Certification Exam. Topics include basic computer concepts; types of computers; hardware and software components; networking; network protocols; information security; maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting computer systems; and future technologies.
