Program Description

The A.A.S. Degree in Cloud Technologies prepares students for careers in the field by providing comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in cloud services and technologies. Students gain hands-on experience with leading cloud providers, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, developing the ability to design reliable, secure, and high-performing cloud systems. Students also evaluate and compare cloud computing models, providers, and technologies to make informed decisions when implementing cloud solutions. Some of the courses in the program are cross-listed with continuing education. Graduates are prepared for industry-recognized certifications and can pursue further education or entry-level employment in cloud computing, excelling in networking, security, and cloud-based information systems.

The degree program builds upon the Cloud Technologies Certificate. The courses prepare students for the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, Microsoft Azure Administrator, and CompTIA Network+ and Cloud+ certification exams and others.
