We create an environment infused with student-centered learning experiences that stimulate critical thinking and improve academic performance. The Health Sciences Collegian Center (HSCC)  will increase exposure to career options and opportunities in the health sciences, and promote students’ personal identification with their chosen health science career path.

 

Membership Criteria

Students already accepted into one of the health science programs are eligible for membership and encouraged to participate in Collegian Center activities. The programs include:

  • Nursing
  • Emergency Medicine – Intermediate and Paramedic
  • Health Information Management
  • Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Radiography
  • Respiratory Therapy
  • Health, Nutrition, Physical Education, Hospitality, and Tourism

  • Peer Health Education and Advocacy Program (opportunity to become a Peer Health Advocate)
  • Professional presentations
  • Professional development
  • Faculty support (mentoring)
