Become a valued member of the physical therapy team as a Physical Therapy Aide (PTA). Physical Therapy Aides provide vital healthcare assistance to patients needing therapeutic treatment to restore strength and mobility. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) Occupational Handbook, the demand for Physical Therapy Aides is expected to grow faster than the average for all occupations in response to the healthcare needs of an aging population and individuals with chronic conditions.

The Physical Therapy Aide program provides entry-level access to a growing healthcare field for individuals who desire to pursue a career in physical therapy. This two-part program is provided in an convenient online format with training in clinical essentials, followed by a 52 hour on-site clinical experience.

  • Possess basic computer skills
