SAGE is Seasoned Adults Growing Educationally, a tuition-free program of stimulating courses for Maryland residents aged 60 and older. Classes take place in over 25 convenient, community-based venues throughout Prince George’s County.
Studies have demonstrated that you’ve got to use it if you don’t want to lose it — both mentally and physically. SAGE classes are designed to help you do just that by keeping both mind and body active and engaged.
Our reasonable fee structure makes it financially possible to schedule your desired classes. Maryland residents age 60 and older pay a $40 per class registration fee to enroll in state-approved classes. Lab fees and supplies are not included. Trimesters run 13-15 weeks during fall (October-January), spring (February-May), and summer (June-September).
Not yet 60 years old? You can still enjoy SAGE classes, but you will pay full tuition. Please be aware that some of our senior sites have a minimum age requirement for the use of the facility. Select the latest SAGE schedule for information on requirements at specific sites.
