The Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) offers and administers a variety of state grants and scholarships. Rawlings Educational Assistance Grants, Guaranteed Access Grants, House of Delegates Scholarships, Senatorial Scholarships, and Distinguished Scholars Scholarships are the most common types of awards to Prince George's Community College students.
To be considered for most Maryland grants and scholarships, students must be Maryland residents and have submitted a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to the Federal processors by March 1.
